Our friends at O3 World have offered to host our next Round Table. Come out to chat with your PhilaMade friends and chat about the tools we use to keep people communicatinga, and our projects on time and under budget.
We’ll chat for about an hour or so at O3 World and then head over to Frankford Hall for some pre-Memorial Day drinks.

Pollyanna. White Elephant. Kamikaze Gift Exchange. You get the idea.
Bring a holiday-wrapped six-pack of your favorite brew (this is part of the admission). We’ll have brown paper bags and markers if you’d like to wrap at the event.
At 7:15pm sharp, we’ll start the inaugural PhilaMade Holiday Craft Beer Pollyanna. We’ll provide some good company and snacks too.
The rules are simple: Each participant supplies one wrapped six-pack. The first person opens a wrapped gift and the turn ends. The second person gets the choice of stealing any unwrapped item or choosing a wrapped one from the gift pile.
If the second person steals the gift from the first person, then the first person chooses a replacement gift from the pile of wrapped gifts.
If an item is stolen from you, you can steal a gift from someone else, or open an unwrapped one. We’ll do this until everyone has a pack in hand and then we’ll get some real holiday cheer going.

For our next round table discussion, we will discuss project initiation and set up. This includes everything from signing contracts to assembling teams and planning projects. Bring your thoughts, practices and stories to share with the group.
Change in location: We’re now meeting at Happy Cog! Come to 109 S. 13th Street, Suite 3S at 6:00pm, and to get started by 6:30pm.
Refreshments will be available and provided by your hosts.
When we’re done, we’ll plan to head over to a local bar. There are tons to choose from!

2012 has been the year of meeting and building our own Project Management community (with the help of dear old PhilMade). We held a couple of successful events and got to see who’s out there working in project management on the web over the past year. 2013 should be the year where we connect more often and share brilliant ideas. In the spirit of being all PM-like, let’s get ahead of schedule for 2013 and meet up in October!

It’s back. PhilaMade Karaoke.
It took us a full year to recover, but now we’re back. Truly, if ever there was an opportunity to flex your karaoke muscles and demonstrate your prowess, this is it.
Screw misery. Greatness loves company too.

From our friends at the AIGA: “Please join us as Mig shares stories of making things, and doing great work that makes everyone happy. Yourself included. This is a talk about doing over dreaming. You know, stories of sweat and tears, xacto cuts, and hard drive crashes. The stuff designer legends are made out of. But it’s also a talk about being happy doing some of the best work of your life.”
Special Pricing for PhilaMade Members
AIGA was kind enough to offer us a discount code: philamade. Use it to save $10 off your tickets. Space is limited, so get a move on it!

For our first PhilaPM Roundtable we’re getting it all out in the open, time to share your biggest failures, how you bounced back, and what you learned from them. We’ll be identifying some of the indicators that a project is going downhill, and how to take some steps to get it back on track. Aside from inspiring a few laughs, and commiserating, our stories will help us learn from each other’s mistakes.
Coffee and some light refreshments provided to fuel the discussion. Please come with something to share.
